Ridley Scott's masterpiece Blade Runner is about to be released as the Final Cut. Recently, it was shown at the Venice film festival to a standing ovation. However, in the shot of the crowd after the film was shown a long-standing mystery about Blade Runner was solved.
If you look closely at the credits on the screen you can see that Ben Astar is the actor who played Abdul Ben Hassan. But what is curious now is that his imdb listing stops at 1983 and lists him as dying in 1988 without mentioning Blade Runner at all.

So sad to finally discover who he is, only to find out he's been dead for almost 20 years.
Well, 25 years have passed and what I dont understand is why this hasnt turned up earlier..
I guess the 2.5 hour documentury will kick us up to date ;)
